19 Friar Gate is a mid-19th century brick building that stands three stories tall. It features two sash windows without glazing bars, which are adorned with triple keyblocks and channelled lintels. The building has a moulded stone eaves cornice and a shaped parapet. The front has been modernized with a showroom design.
