Description

This is a mid-18th century building on the north side of Friar Gate. It is a three-story structure built of painted brick. The front features three modern sash windows with glazing bars, and a modern tile roof. A modern shop front has been added. The building forms a group with numbers 27 to 32 Friar Gate, the Railway Bridge, numbers 35 to 39 Friar Gate, numbers 41 to 51 Friar Gate, and number 47 Ford Street. Modern alterations have been undertaken.
