Description

AIREBOROUGH HOLLINS HILL SE 14 SE LS 20 (east side, off) Guiseley 4/56 Outbuilding 13.3.86 approx. 2 metres north of rear of Hollins Hill Farmhouse (formerly listed with Holling Hill) GV II

Outbuilding with store and privy, and granary or store over these. Probably early C18. Coursed squared sandstone rubble with quoins, stone slate roof. Small building of rectangular plan and 2 low storeys, with 2 chamfered doorways in east side wall (towards yard), that on the right giving access to the former privy; gable wall towards house has flight of open steps, cantilevered from the wall, leading to a loft door.

Interior: former privy has 2 integral recesses at ground level of outer wall, but lacks other furnishings. Lean-to addition at right-hand end not included in the item.
