Description
This is an outbuilding located approximately 2 metres north of the rear of Hollins Hill Farmhouse, likely dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone rubble with quoins and features a stone slate roof. The building has a rectangular plan and consists of two low storeys. On the east side wall, which faces the yard, there are two chamfered doorways; the one on the right provides access to the former privy. The gable wall facing the farmhouse has a flight of open steps that are cantilevered from the wall, leading up to a loft door.
Inside, the former privy contains two integral recesses at ground level in the outer wall, but it does not have any other furnishings. A lean-to addition at the right-hand end is not included in this listing.
