Description

High View House is a late 18th century, circa 1800, detached double fronted cottage linked to the Esholt Estate. The building is two storeys high and constructed of coursed gritstone with ashlar quoins. It features a stone slate roof with chimneys that have cornices on either side. The cottage has three light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds. A Victorian gabled wooden porch adds to its character. At the rear, there is an outshut and a two-storey 20th century extension, along with a low outshut on the east gable end.
