Description

Nos 22, 24, and 26 on Main Street are a pair of estate cottages designed around 1840, with No 26 positioned to the side and rear. They are constructed from sandstone that resembles brick and feature a stone slate roof with closely set block brackets supporting the stone gutter. The cottages have corniced chimneys, squared surrounds around the casement windows, and plain squared jamb doorways. These buildings are included for their group value.
