Description

This is an outbuilding, likely a former privy, dating from the early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone rubble with quoins and ashlar dressings, topped with a stone-flagged roof. The building is a single storey and consists of one bay. It features a plain stone surround to the door, which has a diagonally-panelled lower half and an upper half with two vertical panels, each containing a semicircular hole with a bracketed shelf of the same shape. The monopitch roof slopes down towards the rear.
