Description
This is a bridge over Thornhope Beck, built in the late 18th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features a recessed segmental arch. There is a band at road bed level beneath the parapet, which has low-sloped stone coping that ends in round piers. The coping is continuous and slightly domed over the piers. The bridge is higher at the center of the arch and has wide-sweeping abutments.
