6/119 Stable block approx. 15 metres north of Hazel House

Stable block, now wagon house. Probably C17, altered. Sandstone rubble with quoins, steeply-pitched roof now clad with asbestos sheet. Rectangular plan. Two low storeys (externally); 3 doorways (1st altered) and 3 square windows (blocked) to ground floor, four small 2-light mullioned windows under the eaves (one now with casement, one blocked, and 2 with chamfered mullions). Inserted garage doors at north gable.

Interior: altered, presumed upper floor removed; common rafter roof with 6 trusses of tie-beams from which raked struts rise to purlins.
