Description

A mid-19th century pair of terraced weavers’ houses, located at 76 and 78 Handel Street, Golcar, and including No 21 Rock Fold. The houses are constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof and stone brackets, featuring a coped gable on the west side. The south elevation has three to one storeys. The ground floor features two two-light stone mullioned windows with pronounced sills and two doorways. The first and second floors each have two six-light stone mullioned windows; one window has two of its lights blocked. A sill bank runs along the first and second floors.
