Description
94 and 96 James Street are mid-19th century houses that form part of a terrace of three. They are built from hammer-dressed stone and feature a pitched roof made of modern concrete tiles and pantiles, with a coped gable. The gutter is supported by moulded stone brackets. The buildings are two storeys tall.
On the south elevation, the ground floor has two 4-light stone mullioned windows and two additional windows with stone surrounds. The first floor features two 8-light stone mullioned windows. The north elevation has one 4-light stone mullioned window and two modern casement windows on the ground floor, while the first floor contains four 3-light stone mullioned windows.
