Description

29 Scarhouse Lane is an early to mid 19th-century building that has been altered. It was originally a weaver's house and is part of a row of similar structures. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof with a chimney that has tabling. It stands two storeys tall.

On the south elevation, the ground floor has a door with a stone surround and one former 4-light stone mullioned window, although two of the mullions have been removed. The first floor has two former 3-light stone mullioned windows, with one mullion removed from each. The north elevation features one 2-light stone mullioned window on the first floor. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
