The buildings at 4-5 Kiln Brow, Golcar, are a mid-19th century pair of houses forming part of a terrace. They are constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched roof of stone slate. Stone brackets support the gutter. The south elevation features a ground floor with two doorways, each having a stone surround and tie-stones. There are two 3-light stone mullioned windows, one incorporating round arched window frames, and one 4-light stone mullioned window with three lights having round arched frames.
