Description

This is a mid-19th century terrace of six identical houses, numbered 2 to 12 Parkwood Road, Golcar. The houses are built of hammer-dressed stone, with pitched stone slate roofs and coped gables. Stone brackets are present on a string course. The terrace is stepped into two groups of three dwellings.

The south elevation features a ground floor entrance to each house with a stone surround and tie-stones, alongside a single three-light mullioned stone window. The first floor has two three-light mullioned stone windows, with a continuous sill band uniting each group of three houses. The north-west elevation showcases six three-light mullioned stone windows on the first floor.

To the south-east of each dwelling are stone gate posts with rounded tops, alongside a garden wall constructed of coursed dry rubble with rounded copings.
