Description

This is a mid-19th century former weavers house, part of a row located in Golcar. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof, now covered in bitumen. Stone brackets support the gutter. The south elevation has a central doorway with a stone surround and tie-stones. The ground floor features one former three-light stone mullioned window, from which one mullion has been removed, and a former four-light stone mullioned window, with two mullions removed. The first floor has one former ten-light stone mullioned window, where three mullions have been removed. The building is included on the list for its group value.
