SE 20 NW PENISTONE ROAD Birds Edge 4/45 Birds Edge Mill 3/6/81 II

Mill. Early or mid C19, in 4 builds. Hammer dressed stone. Stone slate roof. The block nearest the road is of 4 storeys and 7 bays long by 4 bays wide. 9-light industrial casements. Venetian window in each gable apex. Added to the north gable is a lower 3-storey range of 28 bays, in 3 builds. Industrial casements, as before, and one bay of loading doors. Venetian window in north gable apex.
