Description
No 31 on Cumberworth Lane is a house dating from the 17th century or early 18th century, with some alterations. The exterior features pebble dashed walls and quoins, topped by a stone slate roof that is covered in bitumen. The building has two storeys. The entrance is located on the left and has a moulded quoined surround with a Tudor arched lintel. To the right of the entrance, there is a former 10-light mullioned and transomed double chamfered window, which now retains only the two central mullions and the centre transom, with a hood mould above it. On the first floor, there is one 2-light window and one 4-light window. Additionally, there is a single storey later addition to the right and a single storey outshut at the rear, which features 19th century or later windows.
