Description
The Church of England School, originally a National School, was built in 1820 and has been altered over time. It features hammer dressed stone with ashlar dressings and has a hipped stone slated roof. The building is single storey with a facade that was originally symmetrical. It includes four three-light gothic arched windows with intersecting tracery and a central oval inscription that reads "NATIONAL SCHOOL 1820." To the left, there is a doorway within a recent brick porch, and to the right, a recent window that was likely a former doorway. Further to the right, there is a late 19th-century gabled wing, and a recent single storey brick extension has been added to the entire rear of the building.
