Description

Copley House is a mid-19th century former weaver's house, located on Copley Lane in Shepley. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof, featuring gable copings and cut kneelers. It has two ashlar stacks. The main facade is two storeys high and features a central doorway with a large two-light window to the left and right on both floors. Moulded stone brackets support the gutter. The rear of the property contains two smaller, hand-built cottages. On the front, two near-central doorways are flanked by three-light windows on each side. The first floor has an eight-light window and a five-light window, the former with one blocked light.
