Description
Green Hollows is a former pair of cottages that have been combined into a single dwelling. It dates from the late 18th century, with a slightly later and taller addition on the right side. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features quoins and stone slate roofs. The later part has an ashlar stack, while the earlier part has a rendered central stack.
The structure is two storeys high. The earlier section includes a near-central chamfered doorway and a simpler doorway to the left. It has two bays of 3-light windows, some of which have 8-pane sashes. At the rear, there is an addition with a 6-light window on the ground floor and a late 19th-century upper floor. The taller addition on the right features a 5-tier staircase window on the gable end, which has 12-pane lights.
