Description

Nos 22, 24, and 26 on Longlands Road are late 18th-century buildings constructed of hammer-dressed stone, featuring quoins and large plinth stones on the south elevation. The roofs are pitched with stone slate, although No. 26 has a tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high.

On the south elevation, No. 22 has a ground floor entrance with a stone surround and tie-stones. To the east, there is a former large doorway with quoins that is now blocked, alongside a small doorway with quoins. There is also one 3-light stone mullioned window with very large quoins, which may have been a former entrance. The first floor has two 3-light stone mullioned windows.

No. 24 features a ground floor entrance with a stone surround and one 3-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has two 2-light stone mullioned windows.

No. 26 includes a ground floor entrance with a stone surround and tie-stones, along with a side window. The first floor has two 4-light stone mullioned windows. There is a hammer-dressed stone extension to the south with a pitched stone slate roof.

The north elevation displays various 2 and 3-light stone mullioned windows and single lights, along with a later doorway to the first floor.
