Description
135 Fleming House Lane is a building from the 17th or 18th century, which was largely rebuilt in the 19th century. It features farmer-dressed stone and has a pitched stone slate roof. The building is two storeys high. Most of the windows are mid or late 19th century 5-light stone mullioned casements, but there is one earlier 2-light stone mullioned casement on the north side and one blocked 3-light stone mullioned casement on the south side. The entrance has a planked door, and various timber lintels have been incorporated into the modern structure. Inside, the original layout is preserved, including a large inglenook fireplace with a chamfered bressummer.
