Description
Abbot Park Farmhouse is a house dating from the late 17th century or 18th century. It is constructed of roughcast stone and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and has three bays. The ground-floor windows are small-paned casements, and there is a fire window in the first bay. The first-floor windows have small-paned fixed glazing with opening side lights. The central entrance is plain and has a dripstone above it. There are gable-end stacks, with the one on the right featuring two round shafts, likely added in the 19th or 20th century. To the left, there is a 20th-century breeze block outbuilding that also has a small-paned casement. At the rear, there is a wing with a projecting gable-end stack, and it has similar windows to the left return, including a stair window with a bull's eye. The right return has plain casements, and there is a re-entrant lean-to extension with a single-pitched roof, an entrance, and a gable-end casement, along with a stack at the ridge. Inside, the farmhouse features chamfered beams and a stone stair.
