Description

Thorpe Farmhouse, dating to the early 18th century, is a stone building located on Finthorpe Lane. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a pitched stone slate roof, featuring a coped gable and cut kneelers at the east end. The building is two storeys high. Number 15 has one three-light stone mullioned window with glazing bars on the first floor, and one four-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor. Number 17 exhibits two ranges of modern windows, along with one range of three-light stone mullioned windows. The rear elevation features various two and three-light stone mullioned windows; a door with a four-centred head in a moulded surround is located in number 17.
