Description

The stable and coachhouse to Finthorpe, located on Fleming House Lane in Almondbury, dates back to the 18th century. It is constructed from coursed rubble and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables and cut kneelers. The building is two storeys high and has segment-headed coach doors that are now partly blocked. Inside, there are some very large timbers, likely repurposed from an earlier structure, used as lintels. The interior also includes 19th-century stalls and other fixtures. Additionally, there is a one-storey lean-to with a stone slate roof and two doors on the east side.
