Description

Fleming House Lane, Almondbury, is a mid-18th century house. The front is faced with ashlar, and the roof is covered with stone slate. The house is two storeys high, featuring a modillion eaves cornice and a parapet. A band runs around the building. It has plain raised quoins. Five ranges of sash windows with glazing bars are set in plain raised frames. A central first-floor window has a moulded frame. The front door has a fanlight and later glazing bars, set in a moulded frame with a pulvinated frieze and moulded cornice. The rear of the house displays two ranges of bipartite sash windows with glazing bars, and a first-floor Venetian window with Gothic glazing bars.
