Description

Finthorpe Cottage is a 18th-century building located on Fleming House Lane in Almondbury. It was formerly an office for No 245 (Finthorpe). The cottage is constructed from coursed rubble and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables supported by cut kneelers. It has two storeys. The garden front includes a staircase window with glazing bars and two mid-19th century stone mullioned windows. The remaining windows are modern, either in original openings or designed as neo-Georgian bows. Finthorpe Cottage also has one 19th-century wooden oriel window on each side, and on the north side, there are two ranges of early 19th-century sash windows with glazing bars.
