Description
This is a milepost dating from the mid to late 19th century. It is made of stone and features a triangular cast iron front. The front is inscribed with the following information: "WAKEFIELD & AUSTERLANDS ROAD LEPTON HUDDERSFIELD HORBURY 2¼ MILES 8 MILES WAKEFIELD 11 MILES".
