Description

Fenny Bridge Nurseries is an 18th-century longhouse type farmhouse located on Fenny Lane in Almondbury. The building is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. It has two storeys, with two three-light stone mullioned windows on the first floor and two modern windows on the ground floor. The entrance is flanked by a door leading to a barn, which was originally aisled and includes king post trusses, with posts that are arch-braced to the trusses and to the aisle plates. There is also an extension to the southeast that has planked stable doors.
