Description
Green Gate Knoll is a building from the 18th century or early 19th century, with some modern alterations. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The west gable end has a coped design with moulded kneelers. The building stands two storeys high and has four tripartite casement windows on the first floor, which likely originally had stone mullions. The ground floor originally contained two doors, although one is now blocked, as well as a window with five lights, of which only two stone mullions remain, and another window with three plus three lights, where all but the principal stone mullion have been removed. To the south, there is a barn range that has all modern openings except for one French casement, which is set within an original segment-headed arch. A modern extension has been added to the north side.
