Description

Number 10, including the outhouse to the east, is an 18th-century building located on School Hill in South Crosland. It is constructed of hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gable ends and moulded kneelers. The building has two storeys. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light stone mullioned windows, although some mullions may have been removed, and one larger window with 8 lights, of which 4 are blocked and 2 have mullions. The outhouse, which may be slightly older, has less regular stone courses and also has two storeys. It includes one 2-light stone mullioned window on the first floor and a planked stable door with a contemporary latch and chain.
