Description

The School House, dated 1762, is a two-storey building located on School Hill in South Crosland. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The front elevation displays three 3-light stone mullioned windows on the first floor, although two of these have had their mullions removed. On the ground floor, there is one 4-light window. The rear elevation includes two 3-light windows on the first floor, which presumably once had stone mullions.
