Description

No. 474 on Leymoor Road is a small cottage dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof with a coped gable on the northwest side and tabling at the chimney. The cottage is two stories tall. On the southwest elevation, there is a ground floor window with four lights, although twelve mullions have been removed. The first floor has an eight-light stone mullioned window. The northeast elevation features a first floor with a two-light stone mullioned window and a three-light stone mullioned window. This building is included for its group value with other nearby structures.
