Description
Holt Head is a detached house dating from the early to mid 19th century, with a new addition to the east. The building features thinly coursed rubble and a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables and moulded footstones. It has two storeys.
On the southeast elevation, the ground floor has an entrance in a modern porch and two 3-light stone mullioned windows, although the central light of what was originally a 7-light window has been blocked. The first floor has two 4-light stone mullioned windows. The southwest gable is rendered and has one 3-light stone mullioned window on the ground floor.
On the northwest elevation, there is a single-storey extension on the ground floor, with one 3-light stone mullioned window and one 2-light stone mullioned window on the first floor. The new part of the building on the east has two 4-light stone mullioned windows on each floor in the southeast elevation, and one 3-light and one 4-light stone mullioned window in the northwest elevation.
