Description
Mount Pleasant is a detached house dating from the early to mid 19th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables and stone brackets. The gable stack has been partially rebuilt. The house has two storeys.
On the southeast elevation, the ground floor includes a central doorway with a stone surround, a two-light stone mullioned window, and a five-light stone mullioned window, although one mullion has been removed. The first floor originally had a thirteen-light stone mullioned window, but one light has been blocked, resulting in a five-light and a seven-light window.
The northwest elevation shows a derelict lean-to and outbuildings. The northeast gable features an entrance with stone surrounds on the ground floor, which was formerly part of an extension, and a two-light stone mullioned window on the first floor.
