Description
29 Rochdale Road is an early 19th-century house that has been altered and includes a former barn within the same range. The building is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables. It stands two storeys tall.
On the southeast elevation, the ground floor has an entrance that is set within a modern porch and features one three-light stone mullioned window. The first floor contains one six-light stone mullioned window, which was originally eight lights but has had two lights blocked.
The northwest elevation includes a large central doorway with a segmental arched head, which now has glass infill, and is surrounded by stone with tie-stones. There is also one three-light window added later on this elevation. The first floor has one two-light stone mullioned window. Additionally, the ground floor has one single light window, while the first floor features two single light windows, one of which is a later addition.
