Description
Hardenby Farm House and Barn is an early to mid 19th century building that is part of a terrace. The structure is rendered and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables. The barn has rooflights on both pitches. The farmhouse has two storeys, with the southeast elevation displaying a central doorway that has a timber surround and a timber cornice supported by timber consoles. There is a probable former three-light stone mullioned window, although the mullions have been removed. On the first floor, there is a five-light stone mullioned window. The barn features a large doorway with a semicircular arched head, stone surrounds, and a small square vent above it. The northwest elevation includes a large lean-to single storey extension and two two-light stone mullioned windows on the first floor.
