Description

The Sun is a detached house built between the late 18th century and mid 19th century. It is constructed from hammer dressed stone and features quoins and a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two storeys.

On the southeast elevation, the ground floor includes a two-light stone mullioned window with a pronounced sill that has been enlarged downwards, and a former eight-light stone mullioned window that has also been altered, enlarged downwards, and partially blocked. The first floor features a three-light stone mullioned window, a four-light stone mullioned window, and another two-light stone mullioned window.

The northwest elevation includes a later lean-to extension with a catslide roof, and there is a porch located on the northeast side.
