C18. Two cottages with barns in between, now all one dwelling. Hammer dressed stone (part rendered). Quoins. Millstone grit surrounds to window and door openings. Pitched; stone slate roof. Coped gable with chamfered underside. Millstone grit footstones, 2 storeys. South East elevation has: former cottage on left: ground floor; central doorway with large millstone grit quoins and deep lintel with datestone and initials within carved motif (typical of C17) part obscured by electric lamp; one 3-light stone mullioned window with chamfered millstone grit surround (mullions removed); one 4-light window, as above, with 2 mullions removed; one single light with stone surround adjoining doorway; on first floor: one 3-light stone mullioned window with chamfered millstone grit surround (mullions removed); one 4-light window, as above with 2 mullions removed; the rear is rendered with 2 projections, possibly corbels for canopy to former doorway. Former barns to North East have outshut extensions to South East. Former cottage to North East again is single storey with pitched stone slate roof and is rendered; south-east elevation has entrance and one 3-light stone mullioned window.
