Description

Pinfold is a late 18th century or early 19th century structure located between Ainley Place and Wilberlee in Slaithwaite. It is built of dry-stone rubble and may have been rebuilt at some point. The pinfold is circular in shape and features a small opening that is topped with a rough millstone grit lintel and has quoins.
