Description
No. 7 Ainley Place is an early to mid 19th-century building that forms part of a terrace. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof. The building has two storeys, with the ground floor set back to earth.
On the southeast elevation, the ground floor includes two entrances with stone surrounds and tie-stones, a four-light stone mullioned window, and a two-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has a prominent ten-light stone mullioned window. The western part of No. 7 dates from the late 19th century and lacks architectural value, but it is included for group value.
The northwest elevation features an entrance to the first floor with stone surrounds and tie-stones, along with two two-light stone mullioned windows.
