Description

Number 9 Ainley Place is a late 18th-century end-of-terrace house constructed from hammer-dressed stone, featuring quoins and a pitched stone slate roof. The building has moulded footstones and stands two storeys tall.

On the southeast elevation, the ground floor includes an entrance framed by large millstone grit surrounds, tie-stones, and a large millstone grit lintel, along with a modern four-light stone mullioned window that is in keeping with the style. The first floor has one recessed two-light stone mullioned window and one recessed three-light stone mullioned window.
