Description

Spring Royd Farmhouse and Barn is an early to mid 19th century building that combines a house and a barn in one range. It is constructed from hammer dressed stone and features a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables. The building is two storeys high.

On the southeast elevation, the ground floor includes an entrance with a stone surround and a four-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has two three-light stone mullioned windows. The barn section has a large central doorway with a semi-circular arched head.

The north elevation features a later window on the ground floor and a single-storey lean-to attached to the barn. Additionally, the northeast gable has a single-storey lean-to extension.
