1626 (datestone). Farmhouse. Thinly coursed rubble. Struck pointing. Quoins. Part rendered. Pitched stone slate roof. Coped gables, chamfered, on millstone grit footstones. Finials on copings at footstones and apex. 2 storeys. South east gable. Ground floor; doorway with massive lintel with date: 1626. Lintel is slightly arched. Chamfered reveals. On north east side is a former early doorway (part blocked) with large slightly arched head and with quoins with chamfered reveals. One 5-light stone mullioned window (double chamfered) (lights have round heads). Hood above with square stop to each end. First floor: one 4-light stone mullioned window (double chamfered) with hood mould with squared stop. Former 2-light stone mullioned window (now blocked) of later date. South west elevation: Ground floor; two 3-light stone mullioned windows (double chamfered) with hood moulding with square stop to each end. First floor; one 3-light stone mullioned window (double chamfered). One single light (double chamfered). One later single light. North west gable: external central gable stack raking inwards towards top. Top of stack is brick. Breast has quoins. Later single window.
