Description

This is an early to mid-19th century pair of houses, numbered 315 and 317 Radcliffe Road, and part of a larger group. The houses are constructed of hammer-dressed stone and have a pitched roof covered in stone slates, with a moulded stone gutter. The south elevation features two stone-surrounded entrances on the ground floor. Above, on the first floor, are four three-light stone mullioned windows. The ground floor of the south elevation also contains a five-light and a four-light stone mullioned window. The north elevation of the houses is built against the earth. On the first floor of the north elevation is one two-light stone mullioned window alongside a later single-light window.
