Description

The chimney to Platt Mill, dating from the late 19th century to early 20th century, is an eight-sided structure made of hammer-dressed stone. It stands approximately 100 feet tall and features two moulded string courses. The upper string course supports a large ashlar cornice, which is topped with a blocking course.
