Description

A former Wesleyan Methodist chapel, built in 1839 and altered subsequently, now converted into dwellings. The chapel is constructed of ashlar with a hipped roof covered in stone slates, featuring stone brackets to the gutter. It is two storeys high. The north elevation has two entrances at ground floor level, with a central window that was originally a doorway. A continuous string course runs between the floors, and above it is a recessed inscription plaque reading "Wesleyan Centenary Chapel 1839". The first floor of the north elevation has three round-arched windows with marginal glazing. The east and west elevations each have five round-arched windows to the first floor, also with marginal glazing; the ground floor windows are square headed. Some alterations have been made to the building.
