Description
This building consists of a cottage and barn, dating from the late 18th century, located in the southwest part of a group. The cottage is constructed from hammer-dressed stone with quoins, while the barn features deeply coursed rubble and quoins. Both structures have a pitched stone slate roof with coped gables on moulded footstones.
The cottage is two storeys high. On the southwest elevation, the ground floor has an entrance with a stone surround and one four-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has two two-light stone mullioned windows. The northwest elevation shows a former extension that has been partially removed on the ground floor, and three two-light stone mullioned windows on the first floor, which have been partly rebuilt.
The barn's southeast elevation is partly obscured by the adjoining cottage and features a large central doorway with a semi-circular arched head and quoins, along with a small vent above. The northwest elevation includes a continuous outshut extension with a large central doorway, also with quoins.
