Description
Delves Moor Farmhouse is a late 18th century to early 19th century farmhouse with a 19th century addition. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone and features quoins. The building is painted and has a pitched stone slate roof, which is covered in bitumen, with coped gables and large moulded footstones. The farmhouse is two storeys high.
On the southeast elevation, there is a ground floor doorway with a large lintel and stone surround, alongside a 5-light stone mullioned window. The first floor has two 3-light stone mullioned windows. The northeast elevation includes a lean-to extension. On the northwest elevation, there is one 2-light stone mullioned window on each floor. The lean-to extension has a stone slate catslide roof and features two 2-light stone mullioned windows and one single light window on the southwest side.
