Description
Hill Top is a building dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century, constructed from hammer-dressed stone with quoins and a pitched stone slate roof. It stands two storeys tall.
On the southeast elevation, the ground floor features a central doorway with stone surrounds and two 2-light stone mullioned windows, each with double lintels. The first floor has two 3-light stone mullioned windows, although one light in each window is blocked.
The northwest elevation has doorways at each end, which are blocked, and these have large lintels, stone surrounds, and tie-stones. There are also two 2-light stone mullioned windows, with one blocked. The first floor mirrors this with two 2-light stone mullioned windows, again with one blocked.
Additionally, there is a single-storey lean-to extension on the southwest gable.
