  • Barn slightly later. Farmhouse and barn. Coursed millstone grit/hammer dressed stone. Quoins. Pitched stone slate roof. Two chimneys with tabling and cap. Barn has coped gable and footstone to west. Two storeys. South elevation: Ground floor: two central doors with large lintels (one blocked and one part blocked); one later door with stone surround. Stone inscription above east door reads: B D 1756 One 4-light stone mullioned window (chamfered and recessed); one 3-light stone mullioned window (chamfered and recessed). First floor: three 3-light stone mullioned windows (mostly chamfered but with some alterations to mullions). Barn tc west with small door with large quoins and lintel. Large barn door with segmental arched head and quoins with pronounced keystone. West gable has several small vents. East elevation: First floor: one 2-light stone mullioned window (chamfered and recessed) (mullion removed). One storey pitched roof extension to east side. Outshut extension with catslide roof to north elevation of house.
